Stay-cation is slightly different when you’re a mom of 2.
To make things fun, I asked Ezekiel to take the lead with one rule- activities must be done in the house. After a day of Wii, Ezekiel ended the day by coloring with his brother and camping out in the living room. =)

We sort of started a tradition. =) We signed Ezekiel up for the Carlsbad kid’s race 3 years in a row. Ezekiel ran 1/4 of a mile and he did great. Ezekiel makes parenthood so much fun, he is easy-going and up for any activities or challenges. I’m thankful and proud of his natural ‘can-do’ attitude as he embraces everything with a smile. <3 my Ezekiel 'Ez-Rara'

It was a beeeeeeauuuutiful Sunday afternoon. The sky was cobalt blue with white cumulus clouds. The temperature was warm enough for a light cotton t-shirt and it was a perfect day for an afternoon stroll. [Zachary Bronxton's QT with mommy and daddy.] We parked and ate at a pub-like restaurant called, Village Idiot. The food was amazing and Zachary Bronxton was at his best behavior embracing every compliment that came his way. After a satisfying meal, we hit the eclectic artsy Melrose Avenue with hipsters fringed along the stores. Couple blocks up- we ran into the perfect mural of ‘Where the wild things are’ to take still shots of Zachary Bronxton- our little mischief.

Here’s my baby … aka PeeWee … Baby B … Brother … Baby …His real name is Zachary Bronxton Lara. Attn: Zachary Bronxton when you’re older and you read this – it’s true.. you go by 2 names because your parents couldn’t decide on your name. I -your mother- wanted to name you Zachary for couple reasons : Meaning- ‘God has remembered’ This meaning sold me to your name. Why?…You’re our honeymoon baby and when you came out you looked exactly like my mother, your grandmother that is now our angel watching over us. Nickname : Zack – yup the nickname we call your brother Zeke so it was perfect. Zeke and Zack =) ——[Back to blog]—— I took this picture this past weekend right before we started our Sunday morning usually I have to take 30 shots in order to get 1 that captures his essence. This time it only took one click. He stood by his dresser and smiled at me as I was getting the camera ready. This exact smile is what I wake up to, come home to, and go to bed to.

My 1st born..easy-going Ez .. Baby Zeke .. Ezekiel. Oh how he’s so special to me!! I was not a teen but I was a young, fresh college graduate, the world just started for me when I found out that I was going to be a mother. My young, world is filled with endless opportunities mindset gave me the confidence, courage, and strength to commit to a new lifelong 24 hrs a day …. 7 days a week …. 365 days a year ….JOB. And he has made this journey so rewarding, eventful, and proud. He smiles with ease, loves without thinking, cares without worry, and truly has an amazing soul. His honest comments melts my heart and his strategic questions humbles me. I chose this image because it shows his true happy disposition. -Ezekiel @ 4yrs old.

I’m sitting here trying to put in words the feeling I had when I saw Ezekiel’s 1st at bat at his 1st coach pitch T-ball game. The feeling is indescribable, I can’t. But it was one of my proudest moment as a mother. T-ball makes motherhood worthwhile… watching him follow his coach, listening to his teammates, laughing, smiling and it hits – he loved the game! Me: ‘Ezekiel did you have fun today?’ Ezekiel: ‘Mommy I like baseball .. I want to play again!’

Ahhh – It’s a mother’s dream !!!! A place where kids can roam fast and furious…release all their built up energy in half an hour… I love this place a.k.a. park! It’s free and gives me an opportunity to bond with my boys without setting rules. Now that Zachary Bronxton is old enough to roam – my boys pair up running laughing screaming playing ….. watching their friendship grow is priceless and soooooo rewarding. =)

wish your baby was hot like mine =)

When I was pregnant with my 2nd child the thought of loving another as much as my 1st born seemed impossible, unattainable, impervious……But my mother was right! Immediately after birth, I ‘fell in love’ all over again -happiness, joy, and euphoria in a way I never dreamed of. He was completely breathtaking, the baby I was carrying in my body was now one of the most important people in my life. He is a gift from GOD. A true miracle indeed!
